Mom’s Day

Every Mother’s Day for the past 30 plus years I would send my Mom a dozen red roses with a card signed From Your One & Only. I would then call her that morning to wish her a Happy Mother’s Day and each time she would thank me for the roses and laugh and act surprised that I had sent them. I miss that laugh so much. I was not prepared for the day when the roses would no longer be required and I feel selfish because as much as I still want her here with me, I truly believe she and My father are together again…as it should be.
